How to Buy and Sell USDT on P2P with Local Currency
Step-by-step guide to buying and selling USDT on UTS P2P Market with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, bank transfer and other local payment methods, protected by escrow.
What is P2P crypto trading?
P2P (peer-to-peer) trading lets you buy or sell USDT directly with other people using your local currency. UTS P2P Market is live now and supports local payment methods like bKash, Nagad, Rocket and bank transfer, with more currencies and methods added over time.
How escrow keeps you safe
When an order opens, the seller's USDT is locked in UTS escrow. The buyer pays with their local payment method and marks the order as paid. The seller confirms the money arrived and releases the USDT. Nobody can take the locked USDT while the order is open.
How to buy USDT
Complete KYC, open P2P from the UTS home page and choose Buy. Filter by currency, payment method, amount, price or verified merchants, pick an ad and enter the amount within its limits. Pay the seller using the details shown in the order, then tap Transferred. USDT arrives in your Spot wallet once the seller releases it.
How to sell USDT
Choose Sell, pick a buyer's ad and enter the amount. Your USDT is held in escrow. Check that the full payment has arrived in your own account before you release. Never release because of a screenshot alone.
Order chat and appeals
Each order has its own private chat with the other trader. If something goes wrong, open an appeal with a reason and up to 3 screenshots of payment evidence. UTS support reviews the order and decides who receives the escrowed USDT.
Safety tips
Only chat inside the order. Never share passwords, 2FA codes or ID documents, and never move a trade to WhatsApp, Telegram or other apps. Pay only to the account shown in the order, using an account in your own name.
